Charlie Hunnam is one busy actor. Although the "Sons of Anarchy" alum has confirmed that he will not appear in "Pacific Rim 2", that doesn't mean he isn't working hard. Hunnam's latest film "The Lost City of Z" will finally premiere this year. In addition to that, the film will debut at the 54th New York Film Festival!

Charlie Hunnam's new film "The Lost City of Z" will finally be unveiled at NYFF. The movie, which is based on the nonfiction novel by David Grann, will have the honor of being the feature that concludes the event.
Director David Gray is undoubtedly proud of the movie. "I couldn't be more honored that the film's world premiere will be in my hometown, a city I still love above all others," he said in a statement (via Entertainment Weekly).
So it looks like Charlie Hunnam's fans will see the actor in at least one film this year. Unfortunately, there is no chance to see Hunnam in "Pacific Rim 2" or the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel

Charlie Hunnam has finally confirmed that he will not return as Raleigh Becket in "Pacific Rim 2". The actor admitted that his character was initially supposed to appear in "Maelstrom". However, his schedule didn't allow any time for the shoot.
But is it possible that Charlie Hunnam will reprise his role in the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel? Hunnam stated that Jax Teller's cameo might not work since the character wasn't born yet when "The First 9" takes place.
"The Lost City of Z" will premiere at NYFF on October 15. Charlie Hunnam will also star in "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword", which is scheduled for release on March 24, 2017.
