Skyrim's newest DLC, Hearthfire is now available on PC for the more than fair price of five greenbacks. So is Dawnguard. Both DLC packs are also available on the 360.
I feel like something's missing though, as if something's been passed over...
Ah yes, that one console from Sony. What was it called again? No, don't tell me...Aha! The PS3! Surely if the PC now has Hearthfire and Dawnguard to boot, like the 360, then surely there must be some news on Skyrim DLC for PS3, right?
"I don't have any info on Hearthfire, Dawnguard, or DLC in general for PS3," said Bethesda's Vice President of Marketing and PR Pete Hines, via Twitter. "We're still on it. Will share update when I have one."
When Dawnguard first became available, XBox 360 gamers had an exclusive 30 day window to it. That window officially closed on July 27. PC owners got a hold of it, but PS3's Skyrim fans have been waiting for news ever since. Save for the occasional tweet from Hines when fans ask for some info, the last heard from Bethesda is that they were working closely with Sony to get everything working.
Sony's VP and Head of Publisher Relations Adam Boyes remarked that both Sony and Bethesda are trying their best:
"We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems...We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda-and with all of our partners-to work with them to solve that any sort of issues they have along the way."
Sorry folks, but there's still no determined timeline for when PS3 fans can get a hold of any Skyrim DLC, if at all.
