After "No Man's Sky" gameplay leaked online, game developer Hello Games asks players to refrain from watching them to avoid deflating one's excitement. The leaks came out ahead of the August release date of "No Man Sky."
'No Man's Sky' Gameplay Leaked Ahead Of Release
After years of developing "No Man Sky," Hello Games is finally ready to release the highly-anticipated game this month. However, it seems that a player got hold of a copy and rubbed off the excitement from everyone. According to Gamerant, a Reddit user that goes by the name daymeeuhn released a series of gameplay footages of "No Man's Sky" weeks ahead of its supposed release date. Hello Games founder and "No Man's Sky" developer Sean Murray took to Twitter to issue a statement regarding the issue.
Sean Murray reminded fans that they have been waiting for years for "No Man's Sky" and it would be such a waste to spoil the surprises Hello Games spent years working on. In a series of tweets, he reminded that "No Man's Sky" will be released soon. Seeing Murray's appeal to its fans, daymeeuhn removed all the uploaded footage of the game. The Reddit user then issued a final post, echoing Murray's statement to wait until "No Man's Sky" is released later this month.
Reddit User Bought Game Ahead Of Release
Now how could daymeeuhn manage to get a copy of "No Man's Sky?" According to BBC, the Reddit user claimed to have paid $1,250 to get an early copy of the game on an online auction website. "No Man's Sky" was allegedly sold two weeks ahead of its official release. Players who witnessed the leaked gameplay said that "No Man's Sky" may be finished around 30 hours in contrast to Hello Games' claims that it could take hundreds of hours to complete it.
"No Man's Sky" is slated for release on Aug. 9 for Playstation 4 and Aug. 12 for PC. Watch the gameplay video below.
