Although the "Limitless" showrunner himself has already confirmed that there will be no chance for a "Limitless" Season 2, fans are still not giving up to have their favorite show back on air. Will CBS finally renew "Limitless"? Or will Netflix and Amazon finally see the potential in "Limitless" Season 2?
"Limitless" fans have been joining forces, showing their support for "Limitless" Season 2 by signing an online petition in Care 2 Petitions with the title "Renew Limitless for Season 2." The "Limitless" Season 2 petition originally started with a 3000 goal and it has now stretched to 9000 as supports from "Limitless" fans overwhelmed the petition creator after Game N Guide first shared the site.
Just because "Limitless" showrunner Craig Sweeny revealed that "Limitless" Season 2 is definitely not happening, doesn't mean that the fans will just lay down in a fetal position and cry. "Limitless" fans have been aggressively leaving comments on all Game & Guide's "Limitless" Season 2 articles, sharing their dismay that CBS dropped the show, and Netflix and Amazon didn't give "Limitless" Season 2 a chance in their services.

Earlier this year CBS released a statement that all of its first-year shows will be given second-season offer. With "Supergirl" being renewed at The CW, many "Limitless" fans were hoping that the show will have that same chance as well. But, no.
