'Wonder Woman' Release Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Gal Gadot Shows Off Diana Prince's Killer Moves In New TV Spot [VIDEO]

There is much excitement over the upcoming DC Extended Universe flick "Wonder Woman". Fans were simply blown away by the Comic-Con trailer featuring the first meeting between Gal Gadot's Diana Prince and Chris Pine's Steve Trevor. Now a new TV spot is shining the spotlight on the Amazonian princess' fighting skills.

The "Wonder Woman" Comic-Con trailer opened with Diana finding Steve on a beach. Fans were then treated to a sweeping look at Themyscira and Diana's Amazon sisters. The teaser highlights a somehow tense relationship between Diana and Steve but also shows Wonder Woman in action. Lucy Davis' Etta Candy was also introduced in the trailer.

The new "Wonder Woman" TV spot features the same footage from the Comic-Con trailer. But thankfully, there's more Gal Gadot and less Chris Pine. The promo is all about the action, showing Diana Prince taking on the bad guys with ease. The teaser also concludes with that awesome song that introduced Wonder Woman in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"Wonder Woman" has been confirmed to take place in the past, when Diana Prince decided to help mankind stop the World War. Hopefully, the film will also explain why the Amazonian princess decided to turn her back on people in the past.

Diana's decision to abandon mankind might have something to do with Danny Huston. The actor has been cast in an undisclosed role but appears to be the main villain in the film. "Wonder Woman" should be an excellent way to prepare for Wonder Woman's return in "Justice League."

"Wonder Woman" is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns and (sigh) Zack Snyder. Gal Gadot will be joined by Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Elena Anaya and David Thewlis. The film is scheduled for release on June 2, 2017.
