NFL Monday Night Football Chicago Bears Vs Dallas Cowboys Results Simulated in Madden NFL '13

The Dallas Cowboys remained tied for first place in the NFC East by defeating the Chicago Bears in ugly game that featured a combined 6 turnovers on "Monday Night Football."

Dallas trailed 21-10 before a late fourth quarter rushing touchdown by running back Felix Jones. The score made it a four-point game 21-17 and put the Cowboys within four points.

On the ensuing kickoff, Bears returner Devin Hester fumbled the ball with 2:26 left, which allowed Tony Romo and the Cowboys to take the lead 24-21 on a 16-yard touchdown reception by wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Romo completed 26 of 38 passes for 376 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Romo also had a fumble that was recovered by the Bears. Bryant ended the game with seven catches for 134 yards and a score. Miles Austin added 9 receptions for 84 yards.

The Bears controlled most of the game, getting five sacks and creating four turnovers to gain a huge advantage in time of possession. But miscues by the defensive and special teams units helped to squander the lead.

Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler had a solid outing and was 24 for 39 for 282 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Cutler's first touchdown pass was a 68-yard strike to Brandon Marshall to open the game.

The Bears' defense got Cutler and the offense the ball right back by picking of an errant pass by Romo. The Bears' running back Matt Forte ran the ball into the endzone from the 6-yards line to put Chicago up 14-0 early in the first quarter. Forte finished the game with 122 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns.

The Cowboys rallied, scoring 10 unanswered points and cutting the deficit to 14-10, by converting a Cutler interception into a field goal before the first half ended.

The Bears defense kept the Dallas off of the board for the entire third quarter sacking Romo three times and causing a fumble that lead to Forte's second rushing touchdown of the game give the Bears a 21-10 lead going into the fourth quarter.

But in the fourth quarter a coverage issue in the Bear's secondary led to a 50-yard passing connection from Romo to Bryant that set up the Felix Jones' rushing touchdown.

Dallas running back DeMarco Murray Rushed for 109 yards of 24 carries and Felix Jones added 39-yards on eight rushing attempts.
