Days before the official "No Man's Sky" release date, an overeager gamer fan was able to obtain a leaked copy of the game. As a result, much of the upcoming "No Man's Sky" gameplay is now known, effectively stealing some of the thunder from a recently release "No Man's Sky" trailer.
Nobody is yet sure how one gamer got hold of the game for the official "No Man's Sky" release date. However, it seems to be genuine because both Hello Games and game director Sean Murray are not too happy about the leaked "No Man's Sky" gameplay that resulted.
Leaked Copy Leads To "No Man's Sky" Gameplay Video
A man, who goes by the name of Daymeeuhn on Reddit, reported to have acquired a leaked copy of the game before the scheduled "No Man's Sky" release date next month, reports GameSpot. And he did get it cheap; he claimed to have paid $1,250 for an early go at the highly anticipated title from Hello Games.
While it might not have been a big deal to have a few gamers getting hold of the game's copy just days before the official "No Man's Sky" release date, it became a big deal because of what Daymeeuhn did next. Not wanting to keep the good fortune all to himself, he proceeded to record a "No Man's Sky" gameplay video and uploaded it in Daily Motion, effectively revealing to the entire gaming world.
Obviously, it did not please Hello Games or the game director Sean Murray. In fact, Sean posted on Twitter an appeal to gamers not to watch the videos saying "We've spent years filling No Man's Sky with surprises. You've spent years waiting. Please don't spoil it for yourself L."
"No Man's Sky" Gameplay Videos Removed From Daily Motion
Daymeeuhn understood Hello Games and Sean Murray's position and removed the videos from Daily motion. In a Reddit update, Daymeeuhn explained that he somehow felt guilty in leaking the footage and becoming the person who spoiled the cool game. In addition, the fallout from his video leaked proved to be a headache.
However, the videos still continue to pop up on other video sharing sites like Youtube. It is possible that these videos were recordings made by viewers who were able to view the game while it was still on Daily Motion.

For, who don't have a leaked copy of the highly anticipated game, need not worry because the game would be available soon. The official "No Man's Sky" release date is scheduled this August 9, 2016, a few days from now.
