“Street Fighter 5” promises to offer gamers a lot of characters to choose from and the list continues to swell.
“Juri” has been the top name joining “Street Fighter V” though more are expected to follow. As mentioned in a previous post, “Juri” was a character that could be played on story mode. She appeared back in 2010 with ‘teleportation’, ‘fireball’ and ‘pinwheel’ kicks in her arsenal.
“Laura”, “Cammy White” and “Ibuki” are the other premium characters to join “Juri”, broadening a roster that is filled with both old and new names. The three premium characters can be purchased at $4 each.
The “Street Fighter V” Characters so far
Game Spot digs deep to round up the list of playable characters appearing in “Street Fighter V”. To date the following names are confirmed as appearing: Guile, Alex, Ryu, Ken, M. Bison, Charlie, Chun-Li, Birdie, Necalli, Vega, Rashid, Rainbow Mika, Karin Kanzuki, Zangief, Laura Matsuda, Dhalsim and F.A.N.G.
All eyes on “Juri”?
Though that list offers a lot of names, the attention right now seems to be on “Juri”. Aside from the abilities she carries, the South Korean Tae Kwon Do fighter is billed as a provocative SIN agent also known as “Spider”. She is tipped to be a sadistic fighter who enjoys violence and takes pleasure torturing her victims.
While the list of characters should be something to look forward to, Capcom also recently released new downloadable content. The DLC pack includes new color schemes and a new stage that dynamically changes reflecting the Capcom Pro Tour.
The DLC runs for about $25, part of which will go to the Capcom Cup. The game is now available for the PC and PS4.
