Gamers who have been longing to see “The Elder Scrolls 6” may have to look for some other game for now with word that Bethesda has not started anything on the much talked about sequel.
At E3, there were no hints pointing to a possible “The Elder Scrolls 6” coming. Just the same gamers kept their fingers crossed, hoping that the non-announcement was because Bethesda was keeping everything under wraps.
Bethesda executive addresses 'The Elder Scrolls 6' status
Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard finally sets his foot down, explaining the true state of “The Elder Scrolls 6”. He bared that there is no team assigned to work on the sequel meaning Bethesda has not started working on the next installment.
Instead, Howard reveals that the company is working on two big projects that all the more eliminates a potential “The Elder Scrolls 6” revelation. The only bright spot from Howard is that they do have some ideas for “The Elder Scrolls 6” but all those may not be at the level that the company feels is suited for today’s age of advanced gaming.
Until that time comes, Howard tweeted that they will hold up any information or updates tied up to the said game. As far as the rumors tied up to "The Elder Scrolls 6" game, Todd addresses it in the same manner that companies do:
"I don't want to say yet, but people should know by now that the gap between hearing about it and it coming out, I like that to be really short," said Howard of "The Elders Scrolls 6" game. "They're all ways off, and we'll talk about it when we talk about it."
Stuck with "The Elders Scrolls 5: Skyrim" for now
