Assassin's Creed 3 New Boston Tea Party Trailer (Watch Here)

Ubisoft released the latest trailer for Assassin's Creed III, depicting the events that led up to the Boston Tea Party. But the new trailer claims that this is the revolution we were told about, but that there is another story to be told.

The Boston Tea Party was a political protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston against the tax policy of the British government and the East India Company that controlled all the tea imported into the colonies.

A group of colonists boarded the tea company's ships and tossed the tea into the Boston Harbor. The incident is an iconic event of American history and is still used as a symbol today in modern politics.

Assassin's Creed III is set in Colonial America, the player controls a young half-English, half-Native American man named Connor Kenway, who is an assassin. A large portion of the game will take place in Boston and will be interesting to see what part Connor plays in the iconic moment in American history.

Connor can explore the entire Eastern seaboard able when he captains a ship. Gamers have to wonder if this ability will play into the Boston Tea Party moments in the game.

Assassin's Creed III is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Microsoft Windows. The game will release worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on Oct. 30, with a Microsoft Windows version following on Nov. 20. The Wii U version will be released simultaneously with the console, beginning on Nov. 18 in North America, and Nov. 30 in Europe.
