Millions of fans are now stoked for the upcoming iPhone 7. However, before its official launching, here are the things you need to know about the imminent Apple smartphone.
iPhone 7 release date & updates
It has been almost two years since the release of the iPhone 6. Now, there's a new iPhone coming up: the iPhone 7. It looks like the new iPhone 7 is expected to be released in Sept. 16, 2016.
Both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6 were presented in September and Apple has no reason to change its strategy. Apple usually reveals its next smartphones in early September, so it can probably be out before the year ends.
iPhone 7 new features & specs
Reports say iPhone 7 will have a bigger camera lens and a USB Type C connection at the bottom that will double up as the new headphone slot. There's absolutely no 3.5mm headphone port on the base of the handset.
Moreover, iPhone 7 also has the repositioned antenna on the corners of the handset instead of havig it across the back. But, in terms of size and design, the new iPhone 7 looks very similar to the existing iPhone 6s.
iPhone 7 to end home button
An iPhone 7 with no physical home button is back on the agenda, with the often dependable Mac Otakara issuing a fresh report backing up older rumours of a new way to use Apple's next smartphone. According to the report, iPhone 7 will have a new flush home button powered by 3D touch technology used in iPhone 6S
Apple's iPhone 6s, the predecessor of iPhone 7, may have been a huge shot for the technology giant. However, it didn't alter much when it came to design.
In July 27, 2016, while conducting an employee meeting in Cupertino, CEO Tim Cook just announced that Apple recently sold its billionth iPhone. "iPhone is truly an essential part of our daily life and enables much of what we do throughout the day," the iPhone 7 maker stated.
