Saren Arterius shrieked in agony, his skin bursting in invisible flames. The aching sent him staggering out of Commander Shepard's view. He is structurally changing from flesh to machine. His metallic claws shinning in the shadows of the Citadel. Sovereign's puppet sheds his last morsel of flesh and reveals his cybernetic upgrades.

Mass Effect fans on the PlayStation 3 are finally going to meet two of the best villains in the mass effect universe Saren the rogue Spectre and Sovereign the vanguard of the Reapers.

Electronic Arts announced the Mass Effect Trilogy, a compilation of all three Mass Effect games in one box. The Trilogy will be available in stores beginning Nov. 6, for $59.99 on the Xbox 360 and PC.

The compilation will also be available at a later date for the PlayStation 3. Mass Effect will be available on PlayStation 3 for the first time through the Mass Effect Trilogy and digitally as a standalone title via the PlayStation Network.

The trilogy's release will coincide with Bioware inaugural "N7 Day," a worldwide celebration of the Mass Effect franchise on Nov. 7, 2012.

The original Mass Effect is set in the year 2183, 35 years after, humankind discovered a cache of technology on Mars, supposedly built by a technologically advanced race called the Protheans.

Humanity manages to use the tech to explore beyond the solar system and established numerous colonies. Eventually humanity encounters various extraterrestrial species and become one of the many independent bodies that make up the collective Citadel community.

Player controls Commander Shepard, a veteran soldier, who can be customized by the player. In the original game Shepard is under command of Captain David Anderson, before taking control of the Normandy and its crew.
