"Pokemon Go" was a total smash hit when it was released not long ago. The game trended at once when the app was launched on Apple's App Store and Google Play. With the overwhelming result, the game app was tagged as "the best app ever."
Fans all over the world have gone crazy over the game and odd news were reported in connection with playing the game. For instance, one man complained of losing his privacy when Pokemon hunters started to visit and linger around his home. As it turned out, the app improperly tagged the man's home as the Pokemon gym. In another story, a player discovered a dead body when he was directed by the app to look for Pokemon in the woods.
Although there are still countries that are waiting for the "Pokemon Go" to be released in their region, the success of the game is very apparent in areas where it is already playable. Then again, according to a research done by Survey Monkey, the game has already reached its peak and now going downhill in the United States.
The survey revealed that "Pokemon Go" recorded the highest number of players on July 14, a week after the game was launched. It was estimated that on that day, more or less 25 million people played the game. However, after that day, Survey Monkey claimed that the count of users has been steadily declining.
The online survey company believes that Pokemon Go still has a long way to go, considering the fact that many countries have not yet experienced the "Pokemon GO" fever. This means to say that with the exception of U.S., the game will continue to draw in millions of players and further boost its profits for months and years to come.
Meanwhile, "Pokémon Go Plus" is already set for worldwide release on July 31. In United Kingdom, the release date has been set for Aug. 31. The much-awaited wristband device will change the way fans were playing the game because it is a standalone gadget that allows players to play without the need to look at their smartphone's screen all the time.
Lastly, the "Pokemon Go Plus" was rumored to retail at around $34.99 in the U.S. and £34.99 in the U.K.
