Thanks to the social media crazy cast and crew of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, season 4 has now officially gotten going. Show mainstays like Ming-Na Wen and Chloe Bennett made some posts on Twitter and Instagram just recently to update the show’s fans and followers.
Last time out, Game N Guide covered a rumored angle that involved the possible entry of “Ghost Rider” on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, Comic Book reported. The first thing that came to mind was the same character portrayed by Nicolas Cage 2007 and 2011 though a casting call says otherwise.
To recall, the casting call was reportedly looking for a pair of Latino brothers with one inheriting a dangerous role while the other paralyzed in a wheelchair. While nothing has been hinted, a possible scenario would see one a vigilante of sorts and the other helping out in a hacker-like fashion similar to “Skye”.
Actual “Ghostrider” or “Hellfire”?
With that said, it remains to be seen what the producers of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” have up their sleeve. A best bet is the second one which could mean a likely “Hellfire” insertion over the actual Marvel character “Ghostrider”.
The show has done decently well without the Marvel heroes, featuring ones that are of lesser known origin. But until showrunners of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” come out in the open, anything is still possible as far as seeing either “Ghostrider” or “Hellfire”.
Picking up from “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” season 3
Finally the answers to that fast-forward incident will be explained once the show returns this Sept. 20. To recall, “Skye” (Chloe Bennett) seemed to be on the run and gave a little girl a ‘familiar’ wooden bird.
Aside from that, there is the actual case involving “Holden Radcliffe” (John Hannah) and his “Life-Model Decoys”. Is he part of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” or some other group?
Lastly, there is the fate of “Phil Coulson” (Clark Gregg). What is his real status with the team? Who is the new ‘director’ he was referring to in the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” season 3 finale?
