A trailer featuring The People's Champion for WWE '13 is making the rounds online. As part of WWE 13′s new Attitude Era Mode, fans will be able to replay some of The Rock's most iconic moments: his battles with Triple H, to his feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Check the trailer below!
After joining the WWE precursor, the WWF, in 1996, Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson rose to fame quickly after capturing the WWF Championship belt. Johnson was soon recognized for cutting arguably the best promos in the industry, voted voted third by the fans for his microphone ability behind "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Stone Cold himself, Steve Austin.
He left the WWE in 2004 to pursue professional acting, starting small with roles in television, before hitting the big screen in "The Mummy Returns" as the Scorpion King, a role he would later reprise, starring in "The Scorpion King" in 2002. He would go on to star in other movies through the early 2000's like "Walking Tall," and "The Rundown," before returning to the ring in 2011.
In case you didn't notice in the trailer, it looks like you'll be able to re-play the infamous "I Quit" Match between the Rock and Mankind at the 1999 Royal Rumble.
The Rock will join fellow WWE Superstars like Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, John Cena, Booker T, and more. WWE '13 hits store shelves October 30 for PS3 and XBox 360.
