"Cyberpunk 2077" is the next RPG game to anticipate. However, the production for this project has not started yet as its developer, CD Projekt, is still looking for more people to help build the game.
The Polish video game producer just completed the final expansion for the "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Blood & Wine" so their attention is now focused on their next role-playing game. To find the right candidates for the creation of "Cyberpunk 2077," a job listing was posted on CD Projekt Red website.
The job description read: "CD Projekt Red is looking for an exceptional and well-organized Producer who will manage designers' and artists' teams and cooperate closely with Game Directors and Executive Producers to coordinate development processes within the studio." In addition, it was stated that the chosen producer will also supervise schedules and be responsible for writing and submission of progress reports. He or she will also be tasked to interview and hire new staff if needed.
Foreign workers are going to receive free Polish language lessons since the office is based in Poland. With that said, it is clear that CD Project will also welcome applicants from other countries.
Now, as the company is still on the hunt for their next producer to manage the creation of "Cyberpunk 2077," it can be assumed that the game will not be ready anytime soon. Most probably, the game will be released some time in 2018.
Moreover, the game that will follow "The Witcher 3" is still in the works so CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski said that he does not want to talk about the project for now. This is because, every time he say something about the game, it turn into news that people exaggerate a bit. On top of that, since there is still a long way to go before "Cyberpunk 2077" is completed, the news story is becoming repetitive.
"When we show it, we should show it and explain it. So I'm going to have people not read anything about "Cyberpunk 2077" probably for the next time," Iwinski told Eurogamer.
