Executive producer Greg Nicotero recent interview revealed that there were a handful of people who witnessed Negan's kill scene and their reactions were priceless. More so, a photo confirms Morgan is alive and will be returning to "The Walking Dead" season 7.
People Cry Over Negan's Kill Scene
Executive producer Greg Nicotero sat down with ComicBook and revealed that a handful witnessed Negan's entire kill scene that left everyone hanging in last season's "The Walking Dead."
On the other hand, fans need to wait until October for "The Walking Dead" to know who Negan beat to death with his barbed wire covered baseball bat Lucille.
Nicotero invited the new directors for "The Walking Dead" season 7 to witness how Negan's kill scene was created. Not surprisingly, the new directors found it disturbing and their reactions were simply priceless.
"A couple of people have seen it and then they stand next to me for about 24 hours going, 'F-k!' And I'm like, 'What?'" Nicotero said of the chosen few's reactions to how Negan's kill scene turned out to be in "The Walking Dead" season 7.
Nicotero personally has mixed emotions about the Negan's killing scene in "The Walking Dead" season 7. "It's pretty amazing, I'll tell ya," the executive producer said. "People cry which makes me happy and sad at the same time."
Morgan Comes Back!
Meanwhile, EW got hold of exclusive photos showing Morgan (Lennie James) on the set of "The Walking Dead" season 7.
The last time fans saw Morgan was when he was accepting help from two armoured soldiers, who appeared to have come from the Kingdom. Based on the comic books version of "The Walking Dead," the Kingdom is a community run by a vibrant character known as King Ezekiel.
If indeed Morgan is in Kingdom in "The Walking Dead" season 7, then this is aligned with what Nicotero mentioned of the plot previously.
"The Walking Dead" season 7will air in October but a new trailer will be released on Friday in their panel discussion at the San Diego Comic-Con.
