Is an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak coming or not? This is a question that has hounded jailbreaking fans for quite some time now with the only significant breakthrough happening earlier this month.
Pangu showcased a batch of iOS jailbreaks covering the iOS 9.3.2, iOS 9.3.3 and iOS 10 via slideshow and such has ramped up rumors that a long overdue crack will be out this July. Nothing close to one has come out and various takes popped up.
There were rumors that an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak would come out ahead of 9.3.2, something that didn’t make any sense. Apparently the push towards it was because of the flawed OS which covered privacy issues, fast battery drains and even some bricked iPads earlier this year. Much of this was covered in a previous post.
iOS 9.3.2 still coming out?
Despite a seemingly logical sense of reasoning, Neurogadget has once again reiterated that an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak may be released any time soon. The post technically recapped the various speculations coming out on the web, noting that the final say will still be on Pangu.
Similar to MOSET 2016, Pangu will be holding another round of talks at another event which is Black Hat USA 2016. The event will be held from July 30 to Aug. 4 in Las Vegas where the obvious thing most will be looking out for is an iOS jailbreak.
Unlike MOSET 2016 where Pangu was already expected to come out with an iOS jailbreak update, the same cannot be said for Black Hat 2016 according to @vangelis_at_POC. But even if the Pangu group does not tackle the iOS jailbreak status, questions are expected to be thrown their way.
There is an outside chance that an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak may come out unannounced but time is of the essence. Apple is expected to come out with a final version for the iOS 9.3.3 and the Fall release of iOS 10, technically rendering an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak useless.
