With the announcement of its official air date, fans of "Longmire" are now waiting what will happen to the upcoming Season 5. With that, they are now anticipating who will be the next character who will say goodbye soon.
As "Longmire" Season 5 will continue where Season 4 left off, it looks like there are some characters who will take their final bow.
Who Among The Characters Will Go?
Of course, Walt (Robert Taylor) will not yet leave "Longmire" Season 5 as he's the main antagonist of the American drama series and not even Vic (Katee Sackhoff).
If Vic dies on "Longmire" Season 5, for sure it will be a great shock as she is one of the most loved and known characters, but that just won't work -- for now.
Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) might quite be in danger to be gone on "Longmire" Season 5 as he is known for getting into hazardous situations that are hard to escape.
Moreover, Cady (Cassidy Freeman) was facing a hard choice because of Jacob (A Martinez) at the end of Season 4. However, this might not still lead her demise on "Longmire" Season 5."
Ruby's (Louanne Stephens) stay on "Longmire" Season 5 might be also threatened as her possible downfall can be used to a new storyline, according to CarterMatt.
Lastly, among the five characters, Zach is the busiest of them all. It is not yet sure of Barry Sloane will grace "Longmire" Season 5 and so, he is the most likely to go.

Game & Guide previously reported that the official release of "Longmire" Season 5 had already been announced on its Facebook fan site.
"BREAKING NEWS! 'Longmire' Season 5 release date has been announced: September 23 on Netflix!" the caption read along with the snap of Sheriff Longmire.
However, there are swirling rumors that "Longmire" Season 5 will be the last airing of the Netflix series. To recall, "Longmire" has been canceled by its first network, A&E, before Netflix owned it.
It looks like fans just have to wait for Netflix's further announcement regarding "Longmire" Season 6.
"Longmire" Season 5 will be aired on Sept. 23 on Netflix.
