'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Season 12 Latest, Spoilers, News & Update: Kim Blasts Taylor Swift In Ongoing Feud With Husband Kanye West; Says Singer Likes 'Playing The Victim' [Watch Clip]

Kim Kardashian recently explained why she blasted Taylor Swift for the latter's pending feud with her husband, Kanye West. According to the reality TV star, the Grammy-winning singer likes to play the victim.

In the July 10, 2016 episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kim was shown talking to her sister Kourtney and explaining how she defended Kanye during a recent interview with GQ.

Huffington Post noted that the strife originated from a lyric in Kanye's new controversial song "Famous," which read, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous."

According to Kanye, he had a long conversation with Taylor about the line, which the latter found funny and approved. Taylor's team, however, was not too pleased when the song came out, which compelled Kim Kardashian to defend Kanye.

E!Online featured an exclusive video clip from the episode featuring Kim Kardashian saying that she never talks negatively about anyone in public, especially during interviews, but she had to make an exception with Taylor Swift.

Kim alleged that Taylor already knew all about "Famous" before it debuted in February 2016. She also said that she felt that she had to defend Kanye because Taylor was about to make him look bad on the Grammy red carpet while talking to the press.

Kim continued that Taylor Swift has a knack of playing the victim, especially when it garnered her a lot of attention the first time.

She was referring to the 2009 VMA Awards when Kanye interrupted Swift during her acceptance speech, saying that Beyonce deserved the title more. Kim Kardashian said that people should have forgotten about the issue already after several years.

According to Kim, Kanye is an honest person and speaks his mind, but a lot of people have been treating him negatively because of how he speaks and acts.

She felt that Kanye only stood up for what he believed in at the time and his interruption was not a personal attack against Taylor. She said that she no longer cares now and will do anything to protect him.

Mail Online cited that Taylor Swift also received the ire of several Twitter users after putting her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris in a bad light by saying that she actually wrote the song and did the melody of his new hit, "This is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna.

The hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty is currently trending on Twitter where fans showed their support towards the Scottish DJ. Kim Kardashian was among the stars whom fans joked would attend the fictional party.

More updates and details on Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Taylor Swift are expected soon.
