"Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" was such a huge hit that fans can't wait for its second season. Now, there are speculations that "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" season 2 might be delayed due to "Attack on Titan" season 2 air date.
'Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress' Season 2 Delayed
From the same studio of "Attack on Titan" comes "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress." While the plotlines may be a little similar to that of the older anime series, "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" was well received by many, Morning Ledger reported.
Produced by WIT Studio, "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" is on its second season and fans can't wait for it to air. Unfortunately, there are rumors that WIT Studio has been investing most of their time to "Attack on Titans" that "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" took a back seat.
This was also the main reason that "Attack on Titan" season 2 was long overdue. WIT Studio invested most of their time making the first season of "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" that "Attack on Titan" was set aside.
"Attack on Titan" is slated for February 2017.
Most fans have expected the delay. This may mean that "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" may be released in 2019 instead of the initial plan of 2017.
