The whole world already knows that Jon Snow was revealed to be the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, as confirmed in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 10. But does anyone other than Bran Stark know that Ned Stark's bastard is actually a secret Targaryen? And will Jon be accepted by Daenerys and Aegon Targaryen when "Game of Thrones" Season 7 finally airs?
Wait A Minute, Who Is Aegon Targaryen?
Daenerys Targaryen is not the only surviving dragon in the Seven Kingdoms. In George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire", Rhaegar's second child with Elia Martell allegedly survived the Sack of King's Landing. Although Aegon Targaryen has not yet been introduced in "Game of Thrones", some fans believe that he will meet his aunt in Season 7.
It will be easy for Daenerys Targaryen to accept Aegon, since he has the hair and eyes of a true Targaryen. Once they are together, there will only be one last head of the dragon that needs to be found. And that particular head will be in Winterfell in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
Will Jon Snow Find Out The Truth About His Parentage In "Game of Thrones" Season 7?
At the moment, the only living people who can confirm that Jon Snow is a secret Targaryen are Bran Stark and the still missing Howland Reed. Neither one is anywhere near anyone who would care about Jon's true identity. So is there any chance that the third head of the dragon will even know of his importance in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?
The answer could be no. But that doesn't mean that Jon Snow will stop making a difference in the Seven Kingdoms. Although Jon is unconcerned about taking over the Iron Throne or being Azor Ahai, there is little doubt that he is destined for big things in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
