A new image of Fish Mooney at the start of "Gotham" Season 3 recently surfaced online, courtesy of executive producer Danny Cannon, confirming that the character will return to cause more problems to the city. Fish was shown making a climactic entrance through a couple of double doors.
The character in "Gotham" Season 3 looks menacing and furious. She has the power to control minds and has a group of Arkham followers as well, making her a dangerous threat to contend with.
Cinema Blend noted that before "Gotham" Season 3, Fish Mooney began as a city mob boss. Some of her most memorable moments include carving out her left eye while she was trapped on the island of Francis Dulmacher, and being resurrected by Hugo Strange throughout Season 2.
Fish's abilities and evil nature have made her among the favorite villains to appear in "Gotham" Season 3.
Although "Gotham" Season 3 fans may refer to the comics to get more ideas on how Fish Mooney will shape the story, the DC TV series has a knack of moving away from the source material.
Original characters like Mooney will most likely be featured in a different light in one way or another, which is also one of the reasons why "Gotham" Season 3 is set to create its distinct identity from other DC TV shows.
ComicBook said that in other "Gotham" Season 3 news, a new tough-looking character with spikes on his head and back was spotted during filming. Many fans believed that he is a member of the Mutants, a street gang who built a reputation in the Frank Miller series.
Others thought that the new character in "Gotham" Season 3 was portrayed by former Green Bay Packer Michael Montgomery. Some also believed that it was actually Killer Croc.
More returning characters will be seen in "Gotham" Season 3, such as Poison Ivy, Jervis Tech/The Mad Hatter, Solomon Grundy, Talon, Jerome/The Joker, and the Court of Owls, among others.
"Gotham" Season 3 is expected to delve more into the development and adventures of James Gordon (Ben MacKenzie) and the young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).
