NFL Thursday Night Football Packers Vs Bears Results In Madden NFL '13

Green Bay Packer fans were counting down to what could amount to the end of their season. It is only game two of the season, but no team has ever started a season 0-2 at home and went on to win the Super Bowl.

But according to our simulation of tonight's game, Green Bay Packer's quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not let it happen. In our simulation Rodgers leads the Pack to a brilliant comeback in the game's final six minutes. Rodgers' threw his seconded touchdown pass of the fourth quarter to put the Packers in the lead 31-27 over the Chicago Bears with only 43 seconds remaining.

The Bears played great for the game's first 54 minutes, and Jay Cutler was phenomenal. He completed 22 of 31 pass attempts for 321 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite target, Brandon Marshall had 17 receptions for 187 yards and one touchdown. Bears kicker Robbie Gould added six points on two field goals.

Bears running back Matt Forte add 85 yards on the ground and 1 rushing touchdown. Chicago's defense held its rival to 53 yards rushing. The staunched defense turned the night into an air show as the teams combined for 714 yards through the air.

Devin Hester put the Bears ahead by 10 in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter taking a 27-17 lead, when the Packers responded with a time consuming 82-yard touchdown drive that ended in a Jordy Nelson touchdown reception and took nearly seven minutes off the clock.

The Bears had the ball with 3:38 left in the game and chance to put the game out of the Packers reach, but bad offensive line play caught up to Chicago in the end. Culter was marching the team down the field when his left tackle let Packers' linebacker Clay Matthews get a free shot on Cutler. Matthews instead went for the ball and got the hat trick— a sack, fumble, and recovery.

The turnover would lead to the Aaron Rodgers' game winning touchdown pass to tight end Jermichael Finley. Madden NFL '13 predicts a 31-27 victory for the Packers. Last week Madden incorrectly predicted a Giants' victory over the Cowboys 24-17. Do you think the simulation got it right this week? Comment below..
