We're now at the third portion of Ubisoft's four part documentary series, "Inside Assassin's Creed III." Entitled "The Hero Behind the War," this episode provides us with a look at Connor, the brand new hero of Assassin's Creed 3.
As noted in the episode, you'll experience some of the founding fathers in a way you never thought before. You won't meet a George Washington with wooden teeth, you'll meet a redcoat wrecking General. Other historical figures Connor will encounter include Paul Revere, Israel Putnam, and others.
What's really impressive about the game is Connor's fluid movements, whether it's scurrying up walls and swinging from tree branches, or burying his tomahawk into an enemy. The team based much of his movement on professional free runners, and the end result looks incredibly dynamic.
The next episode, "America, by Land and Sea" promises a better look at the environments Connor will explore, including cities like Boston, New York, and the American frontier.
