It looks like "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will introduce two new Pokémon with some rather dark characteristics. Is Mimikyu the scary, ghost version of Pikachu?
"Pokémon Sun and Moon" New Pokémon Revealed! Is That Pikachu Hiding Under A Sheet?
The new images of the two Pokémon were leaked by the Japanese magazine CoroCoro (via Serebii). The pictures reveal the new "Pokémon Sun and Moon" characters named Kiteruguma and Mimicyu.
There will be more on Kiteruguma in the bit. In the meantime, it is important to point out that Mimicyu looks like Pikachu wearing a ghostly sheet! Will "Pokémon Sun and Moon" introduce Pikachu's ghostly twin?
According to the Serebii report, Mimicyu is actually a Ghost/Fairy Pokémon. The Pokémon is not fond of sunlight, which explains why it chooses to cover itself in a sheet. In addition to that, Mimicyu wants to be loved by "Pokémon Sun and Moon" fans so it fashions itself after Pikachu.
Mimicyu is not the only "Pokémon Sun and Moon" character that wants to be loved. Kiteruguma wants it so bad that it is willing to squeeze the life out of its trainers!
Free Hugs From Kiteruguma Of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" ... If You Dare!
Unlike Mimicyu, Kiteruguma is a Normal/Fighting Pokémon. It appears as an adorable pink bear with cute abilities like Klutz and Fluffy. However, looks can be very deceiving with this particular "Pokémon Sun and Moon" character.
Kiteruguma loves hugs, but maybe the Pokémon loves hugs a little too much. The Pokémon has a tendency of hugging its trainer to the point of actually suffocating them or breaking their bones. Yikes. This explains why there are several warning signs about Kiteruguma in "Pokémon Sun and Moon".
See more of Mimicyu and Kiteruguma when "Pokémon Sun and Moon" is released on November 18. In the meantime, enjoy the awesome new trailer below.
