Apple's iPhone 5 Price Revealed, Other Facts

From San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, Apple has officially revealed the iPhone 5, as expected.

Though, if you've been keeping track of the rumor mill over the past few months, there's not a whole lot of surprises on the iPhone 5 front. Here's what we know so far:
* No major appearance changes. 5 looks about as sleek and similar as the 4S, though its been stretched a bit wider to accomodate the new screen.
* The new screen comes in at 4-inches, obviously bigger than the 4S, but not as large as some of the Android models.
* The new screen does sport Retina resolution, at 326 pixels per inch, and is able to accomodate another row of apps on the phone's home screen.
* Despite the size adjustments, the phone itself is actually smaller as a whole, now 18% thinner, and 20% lighter overall.
* Supports 4G LTE
* It will be available through Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T
* A new processor - the A6 upgrades graphical performance, great for games and / or apps, better battery life
* Camera changes - now 40% faster, comes equipped with a "panorama mode," and a new low-light mode. The rear lens can shoot 1080p video, and 720p with the front lens.
* New "lightning" port, which is 80% smaller

Pricing starts at $199 for the 16 GB model. Apple enthusiasts will be able to start pre-ordering at the end of this week, September 14, and ships September 21.

The reveal is still on going, so we'll continue to update as more as needed.
