At least four new titles will arrive next on the Xbox One backwards compatibility this week, following the surprise arrival of the "Red Dead Redemption" game on the feature last week. Although the "Red Dead Redemption" hype hasn't totally died down, Microsoft feels like it's about time that they release the next set of games for the backwards-compatible feature.
According to the EXPRESS UK, the next in line for the Xbox One backwards compatibility titles include Bioshock 1, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate. Prior to the release of the "Red Dead Redemption" game, these titles have been rumored to be the next in line for the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature; it looks like this time around, Microsoft is heading towards that direction.
If the lack of announcement from Microsoft at the recent E3 2016 event about the backwards-compatibility titles disappointed fans in more way they can imagine, it looks like the company is trying to make up for those times. Before "Red Dead Redemption," the month of May brought players Call of Duty: Black Ops and in June, Fallout: New Vegas came.
The titles look promising, and the consistent release of new games largely erased the doubts of fans that there won't be any good news coming this July. Unfortunately, Microsoft's consistency is also partnered by the unavoidable shelving of at least 160 other titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.
Microsoft defended this action by explaining that, some games on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature have been removed due to their "Software-only simulation," they also further explained that titles that require players to have hardware accessories are not included.
