Codemasters F1 2012 demo will release on Xbox 360 in Europe and North America on Sept. 10, for Windows PC worldwide and PlayStation 3 in North America on Tuesday Sept. 11, and for PlayStation 3 in Europe on Wednesday Sept. 12.
The game maker has released a new trailer to celebrate the release of the demo. The trailer recreates moments from the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship, which saw an unprecedented seven winners in the first seven races.
F1 2012 is developed by Codemasters and is the sequel to F1 2010 and F1 2011. The game will feature all twelve teams and twenty-four drivers competing in the 2012 season, as well as the twenty circuits. This year's edition will also include the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas
F1 2012 will feature a brand new "Champions Mode", where players will compete against the six World Champions competing in the 2012 season - Kimi Räikkönen, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. The champs will act like bosses and have specific challenges and racing conditions for players to take on.
The demo will allow players to test out two of the game's new features, Young Driver Test and Season Challenge. The Young Driver Test, will teach players how to handle and push their cars to the limit with a series of tests and videos.
The retail edition of the game will launch on Sept. 21, for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Read our review of the demo here.
