A symphony of vuvuzelas and a roar from the crowd provided mini tremors across the pitch. The ground is shaking as the attacking midfielder takes the ball, the opposing team's defender dives and attempts to push the ball out, but whiffs past the midfielder setting off a chain of previously incomprehensible events.
He is moving graceful across the pitch, the ball moving cohesively from left to right, right to left. He give the ball a hard kick, sending it flying in the air in the direction of his teammate, who leaps into the air and strikes the ball with the base of his forehead. The ball blazes past the goalkeeper and into the net for the score. GOAL!!!
Starting tomorrow gamers will be able to recreate their very own exhilarating soccer moments when they download the FIFA '13 demo for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. You can read our review of the demo here. The demo is just a taste of what the retail release of FIFA '13 will offer gamers when it is released on Sept. 25 in the US and Sept. 28 in the UK and Europe.
The playable teams featured in the demo will be AC Milan, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Manchester City.
EA made the announcement at Gamescom earlier this month and reiterated the date via its Twitter account tweeting: "The #FIFA13Demo shows up tomorrow (11th of Sept) starting at 9am UK on PC, between 10am-2pm UK on Xbox, and between 10pm-2am UK on the PS3!"
The game features a new "attacking intelligence" that enables players to analyze space and alter runs to better capitalize on openings in the defense. The career mode has been updated and is expected to allow gamers to manage international teams as their coaching reputation grows. The updated mode appears to have some similarity to EA's Madden NFL 13's connected career mode.
The game will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Microsoft Windows platforms on Sept. 25, in the US and Sept. 28, in the UK and Europe.
