‘Power Rangers’ Movie 2017 Cast Reveals New Film Significantly Better Than TV Series

A member of the "Power Rangers" movie 2017 cast finally revealed something about the upcoming film. Bryan Cranston, one of the "Power Rangers" movie actors, says the upcoming film can't be compared to its television counterpart which aired in the 90's.

But Bryan Cranston confirms that the difference between the upcoming "Power Rangers" movie 2017 and the tv series is for the best. Admittedly, he was a bit inhibited when he was approached for the role at first, reports The Huffington Post.

According to the actor, who will be playing the "Power Rangers" movie character Zordon, his lack of enthusiasm stems from the fact that the television series as he remembered it is a bit "farcical and silly." And he should know; he used to do voice over in the tv show back then.

But when he got to know the material better, he changed his personal opinion about the upcoming 2017 "Power Rangers" movie. He read the script and talked with the movie's director and producer then he concluded that the new "Power Rangers" movie would be significantly different that the tv series. And he meant it in a good way.

When pressed further, the "Power Rangers" movie actor likens the upcoming movie to the Dark Knight Batman movie. Of course it won't be as dark as "Dark Knight" because the "Power Rangers movie will be dealing with teenage issues.

But what Cranston wanted to point out is that just as "Dark Knight" can't be compared to its television series counterpart, the upcoming 2017 "Power Ranger" movie differs from its TV series roots by as much. The inspiration is different as well as its approach. But of course, it still retains the tenets of the folklore of the franchise, that which makes it "Power Rangers" would still be there.

Member of the "Power Rangers" movie cast 2017 include Elizabeth Banks who will play the villainess Rita Repulsa, reports GameSpot. She will be joined by other "Power Rangers" actors RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger), Ludi Lin (Black Ranger) and Becky G (Yellow Ranger).

Apparently, the producers are already planning for more sequels of the upcoming "Power Rangers" 2017 movie. Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lionsgate, expressed the company's excitement on the possibility of doing up to seven "Power Ranger" movies.

The upcoming "Power Rangers" movie 2017 release date is already slated this coming March 24. 2017.
