There are several mysteries in the world of "Game of Thrones". Although the mystery of Jon Snow's parentage has finally been solved in Season 6, there is one that still boggles viewers: Where in the Seven Kingdoms is Gendry? And will he finally row back into the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 storyline?
"Game Of Thrones" Executive Producers Dan Weiss And David Benioff Confirm Gendry Is "Still Rowing"
In "Game of Thrones" Season 3, Gendry rowed away from Melisandre, Stannis Baratheon and the "GoT" storyline. Since then, fans have been wondering when Gendry will return to claim the Iron Throne.
First, here is the bad news. "Game of Thrones" EPs Dan Weiss and David Benioff have just announced that Gendry is "still rowing" and is probably closing in "on Florida" at this point. They also joked that the blacksmith might now have "big lats" from all the rowing (via Movie Fone).
But here's the thing: Can anyone still trust Dan Weiss and David Benioff after they repeatedly announced after "Game of Thrones" Season 5 that Jon Snow is dead, dead, DEAD?
There is a huge possibility that Gendry will finally come to shore and pop up in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. After all, every other lost character has already returned in the sixth season, right?
Gendry's return in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 could also mean that he will reunite with a certain girl he liked to call his "lady."
Will Arya Stark And Gendry Reunite In "Game Of Thrones" Season 7?
If this happens, Gendrya shippers will definitely rejoice. Arya Stark and Gendry had a certain connection in "Game of Thrones" Season 2 and 3.
Will they finally reconnect and maybe start a romance in "Game of Thrones" Season 7? Perhaps Gendry can help Arya scratch off a few names in her list.
The "Game of Thrones" Season 7 premiere date will be delayed. However, fans can expect the show to air on HBO sometime in April or May 2017.
