Every time Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are spotted together, the pair seems floating in the sky with happiness. In fact, the country singer admitted that he is in the happiest state of his life now with the former No Doubt frontwoman.
In an interview, Blake Shelton joined Chelsea Handler for her Netflix series, "Chelsea," and talked about his new album, "If I'm Honest."
Here, Blake Shelton discussed the relation of his LP to his divorce with ex-wife, Miranda Lambert and her romance with Gwen Stefani, according to Billboard.
Blake Shelton revealed that his album "If I'm Honest" tells the different phases of his life. He described it as the documentation from his split to Miranda Lambert to trying his best to be back on track after he has slumped at the "rock bottom."
As the twists and turns of his life surprised him, Blake Shelton was amazed that she met and worked with Gwen Stefani along the way.
Blake Shelton, too, was flabbergasted to know that he and Gwen Stefani were both on the same depressive state of their lives going through a legal separation.
From here, Blake Shelton's life started to change in a snap and make it as an inspiration for "If I'm Honest." "All this just has to be meant to happen. So I made a record about it," Blake Shelton said.
Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani opened up about her own divorce with Gavin Rossdale, which she admitted that ruined her dream marriage.
Not only that, Gwen Stefani also confessed that she loses the half of the time she used to spend with her sons.
"My dreams were shattered. All I wanted my whole life was to have babies, be married, like what my parents have,” Gwen Stefani told Harper’s Bazaar, as per Belfast Telegraph.
To recall, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale decided to call it quits after being together for 20 years. Allegedly, she found out in 2015 that her strange husband was having an affair with their nanny, Mindy Mann.
