EA Sports announced today the official NHL 13 soundtrack featuring 16 licensed tracks by established and upcoming artists from around the world. The music selected for the soundtrack ensures the game looks, plays and sounds like an authentic NHL hockey experience.
"The true NHL hockey experience is about speed, power and creativity," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing for EA. "To create its sonic counterpart, our soundtrack features a mix of well-known bands like Gaslight Anthem, Anti-Flag and The Offspring, up-and-comers that include Battleme and Canada's Classified and Monster Truck, and arena favorites like Zombie Nation's 'Kernkraft 400' and Bassnectar's 'Pennywise Tribute'. We think fans will agree that this is the new sound of NHL hockey."

Personally, I would've liked some Dropkick Murphys on the list (Time to Go is a good one), but maybe next year.
EA promises NHL 13 will deliver a revamped gameplay experience that accurately captures the speed, creativity and strategy of NHL hockey. In addition, NHL 13 will also deliver new experiences that connect hockey fans to their friends and the real world of hockey with all-new game modes.
Promising the biggest change to the franchise on this console generation, NHL 13 will be available on September 11, 2012 in North America and September 14, 2012 in Europe.
