"Outlander" Season 2 is about to reveal its last episode, "Dragonfly in Amber," on July 9 that will last up to 90 minutes. The final installment was delayed for a week as Starz decided to reveal the earlier episodes of the current season.

According to Reporter Times, "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 13, "Dragonfly in Amber," was moved because of the Fourth of July holiday.

It has been known that Television Rating Point (TRP) at this time is quite low as TV viewers are mostly out and about. In fact, not only "Outlander" Season 2's last episode was rescheduled but almost every show took a break.

On the previous episodes of "Outlander" Season 2, fans already heard the saying, "Dragonfly in Amber" and those familiar with Diana Gabaldon book series' know what it means, as per CarterMatt.

In the finale of "Outlander" Season 2, fans will finally meet Roger (Richard Rankin) together with Brianna (Sophie Skelton). The two stars have important roles in the TV drama series and will be seen in the coming seasons.

As per the "Outlander" Season 2 Final Episode synopsis, Starz revealed its official plot. In "Dragonfly in Amber," viewers will be brought back in 1968, the time when Claire (Caitriona Balfe) traveled to Scotland with her daughter, Brianna and eventually meet Roger.

Claire plans to reconcile with the past while Brianna and Roger will try their best to look for Randall family's history. She, then, will talk to her daughter and confess her real identity, her time travel and her life in Scotland in 1700.

However, the story will be intercut with the happenings in the 18th century, the day of the Battle of the Culloden. In "Outlander" Season 2 final episode, Jamie (Sam Heughan) planned a risky idea with Claire as he failed to discourage The Prince.

Unfortunately, Dougal (Graham McTavish) heard their plans that make him go berserk. From here, Jamie will have to do the best that he can in the last episode of "Outlander" Season 2 to save his loved ones, even if it means it will be the last time to see them.
