Kunal Nayyar has finally confirmed that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will be the show's last chapter. But the man who plays Raj also expressed hope that the beloved series will be renewed beyond next year.

Kunal Nayyar Confirms 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Is Not The Last Season
In April, Kunal Nayyar confidently stated that "The Big Bang Theory" will extend beyond Season 10. He even joked that the show will continue until the cast are senior citizens with walkers (via Metro).
"We could all have walking sticks doing 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 20," Nayyar stated before predicting that the series could "go to 11, 12 or 13."
The statement inspired hope in "The Big Bang Theory" fans, until Kunal Nayyar changed his tune just a few months later.

Kunal Nayyar and his "The Big Bang Theory" castmates have contracts that will only last until next year, just until the tenth season. In addition to that, the "TBBT" star seems ready for the end of the show.

In his most recent interview, Kunal Nayyar confirmed that the cast members are already prepared for the end of "The Big Bang Theory."
"We're not sure if there will be another show like this, we know it is special," Nayyar said.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will premiere on September 19.
