“Sherlock” promises to bring in new character and twists for its fourth season though a lot of that is in the air right now. Two things are up in the air for now. One is on the real status of Tom Hiddleston and the other tied up to the drug use of Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch).
Rumors about the possible meeting of Sherlock and his third brother came about following such was mentioned on season 3, Unreality TV reports. His third brother is Sherrinford and is one of the favorite characters on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s books.
Hiddleston is reportedly the one that director Mark Gatiss wants for the part but nothing has been confirmed as we speak. Hiddleston has a busy schedule ahead which includes a return engagement on “The Avengers” and “Thor”.
Taylor Smith’s boyfriend is also reportedly being eyed to succeed Daniel Craig as the new “James Bond”. Adding all those up, it seems a bit hard to imagine how Hiddleston will be able to manage his time and appear in all of those.
Hard as it may to depict, one thing fans can look up to is the fact that Hiddleston and Cumberbatch are good friends. That could be a big factor though it still begs to ask how the 35-year-old actor can juggle his time.
Drug-free Sherlock?
Aside from that, word has it that Sherlock could be drug-free next season. With the said return of nemesis Moriarty (Andrew Scott), Sherlock may need to maintain focus as he and Watson (Martin Freeman) try to deal with the returning adversary according to a report.
More rumors tied up to “Sherlock” season 4 should come out in the coming months, info that will hopefully affirm the status of Tom Hiddleston in the series and what twists lie ahead for Sherlock and Watson. “Sherlock” season 4 is expected to premiere in January, 2017.
