Fans are excited to hear that Harry Potter's Tom Felton a.k.a. Malfoy Draco will be joining "The Flash" as a series regular set to appear next season. The CW superhero drama series just added another reason for fans to anticipate the upcoming season.
Tom Felton Joins 'Flashpoint'
TVLine exclusively learned that Harry Potter's Tom Felton a.k.a. Malfoy Draco will be joining as Julian Dorn in "The Flash" on its third season. Felton will also work for the CSI at the Central City Police Department, who will suspect that Barry Allen is more than meets the eye.
Tom Felton is best known as the evil sorcerer Malfoy Draco in the Harry Potter series. Felton appeared in all eight Harry Potter films, from 2001's first instalment through the last one in 2011.
Before joining "The Flash," Tom Felton also appeared on the first season of TNT's drama anthology "Murder in the First." Also, Felton appeared in DirectTV's "Full Circle" and "Labyrinth."
'The Flash' Season 3: 'Flashpoint'
Last week, the team behind "The Flash" confirmed that it will be following "Flashpoint's" plotline on the next season. While the villain has not been confirmed, Tom Felton's casting should be enough to make its fans look forward to the next season, Screenrant said.
With the confirmation that "The Flash" will follow "Flashpoint" for its third season, fans can expect a lot of changes. In fact, Tom Felton's character isn't found in the comic books.
It remains to be seen if Felton's character is a threat to Barry as a superhero or to his career.
Either way, reports said that Tom Felton will be in for a long haul in CW's "The Flash." It's not yet clear though if Felton's character will be an ally or a villain.
