'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Updates: Series Adds Two New Characters Not From The Comics; Who Are They?

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will reportedly be adding two new characters not from the comic series.

One reader just finished binge watching TWD and he is currently undergoing withdrawal symptoms. Hence, he asked an anonymous tipper from TV Line if he has got any kind of scoop about the show. He was answered with an enthusiastic yes and TV Line's informant proceeded to elaborate.

Writer Regina Ausiello said that Season 6 of "The Walking Dead" will be introducing two new characters. However, comic book readers and TV viewers alike are hyped up with the news since these two characters are entirely new and does not exist in the comic book version, as well.

According to speculations, one of the characters will be named "Naomi." She was described to be a "grandmotherly" type of person. A vague backstory on Naomi said that since she has lost so many loved ones she started to step-up her game.

Naomi is all out on doing anything simply not to have to bury a loved one, a friend or a companion again. There is also speculation that Naomi's character is being introduced by the showrunners so that she will be the one to counsel Carol about the realities and awful inevitabilities that one may encounter in the post-apocalyptic world.

The second character to be added in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is named "Jennie." She is described to be a happy go lucky and sunny teenager. She also sounds similarly like Beth. Jennie is said to be kind with a world-weary toughness.

The two new characters will reportedly appear on the "The Walking Dead" Season 7's sixth episode. However, fans should note that this speculation is yet to be confirmed by AMC.

However, the sources of Ausiello are described to be trusted and reliable as they have proven their previous scoops to be right majority of the time. Hence, there is a huge possibility that viewers and fans will likely meet the neophyte characters in the show's upcoming seventh season.

In other "The Walking Dead" Season 7 news, it was reported that the TV show's production team and network had gone through great lengths just to get rid of spoilers. During the concluding scene of Season 6, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was seen making a murderous swing at a mysterious character.

So that the character will not be revealed, the production team went through the hassle of filming all 11 characters involved in the scene to have a death scene each. Given that 11 death scenes were created, viewers will not have an idea just yet on which character will the show kill off, IGN reported.
