Apple offers their iPhones under a circle of color variants but the iPhone 7 could have a slight tweak as far as the iconic space gray color is concerned.
New reports suggest that the space gray color of the iPhone 7 could be closer to black, darker than the current space gray option that the iPhone 6s offers.
The last time that Apple offered a near-black smartphone was with the iPhone 5 with a black and slate color. All that changed with the iPhone 5s which offered a space gray color variant in 2013.
The latest reports shed more light to an earlier rumor suggesting that Apple will be replacing the space gray with a deep blue color variant. Chances are the ones who spotted the color variant mistook the shade as blue, according to Mac Rumors.
Aside from the near-black iPhone 7, Apple is expected to offer the usual color variants like in the past. That includes silver, gold and rose gold according to Apple Insider.
The matter of the iPhone 7 colors is the latest word around for the next Apple flagship. Game N Guide previously touched on the leaked dual-lens camera technology which shed more light on what kind of cameras the next iPhone 7 variants will boast of.
Other than that, the speculated rumors tied up with the iPhone 7 remains the same. It is expected to be thinner and offer a bumped default storage option from 16 GB to 32 GB.
The controversial 3.5 mm jack will be taken out from most models of the iPhone 7 except for one which will likely be the cheapest model buyers can get.
The physical home button will also be altered, a move that should ramp up Touch ID and 3D touch rumors and also aiding in waterproofing concerns.
With the iPhone 7 expected to offer minimum features, could these perks be enough to get people to buy one this year?
