Fans are expecting their favorite manga series "Tokyo Ghoul" to go back on their TV screens winter of this year. Ahead of its air date, Kaneki Ken's avatar was revealed and he is rumored to face a new villain in the next season.

The famous anime series "Tokyo Ghoul" will be produced by Madhouse Entertainment for its upcoming season slated in winter this year. The focus of the series will shift to Touka Kirishima as said by official sources.
According to SportsRageous, fans may expect to see Haise Sasaki in the new season of "Tokyo Ghoul." Sasaki is actually Kaneki Ken as a Ghoul Investigator, the report said.
Fans are also speculating that Sasaki could be the next hero in the next season of "Tokyo Ghoul." Sasaki is sporting Kaneki Ken's black and white hair color, which many to believe that Sasaki is an avatar of Ken.
More so, a rematch may also be witnessed between Kaneki Ken and his mentor, Arima. This is assumed to be the climax of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3.
Touka Kirishima's Story
According to Anime Maru, it is but fair to put the spotlight on Touka Kirishima since she missed out in the previous season. Madhouse will continue the story of Touka's descent to college.
Madhouse declined to answer if Touka will sport a white hair in the next season of "Tokyo Ghoul." However, the animation director hinted to use other students as clues to know the answer.
"This is perhaps the most disillusioning, psychological and darkest plot line that we will attempt to adapt," anonymous writer named "Bob" stated.
"We hope to remain as faithful as possible to the source material, although we cannot guarantee that more gory scenes such as Touka's standardized exam test-taking will not be censored," he continued.
"Tokyo Ghoul" is expected to come this winter, however; this has not been confirmed officially.
