After "No Man's Sky" developer Hello Games announced that they are delaying the release of the game to August this year, it obviously didn't sit well with the other gamers. The surge of threats and unimaginable comments about the game, the developer and the whole issue of the delay flew like a flurry of stones. Now, it looks like the tides have turned as news about the development of the game is giving positive vibes.
In a statement posted on the No Man's Sky official website, Sean Murray of Hello Games revealed the positive feedback to fans saying "I've said it before, but No Man's Sky is the hardest thing I've ever worked on. It's even bigger than you can imagine.
So that's what we're doing right now, and every day I feel more sure it was the right decision. Thank you so much for your support and patience. The universe will be yours very soon."
Contrary to what has been said in the past, he revealed that, upon announcing the delay of the game, he received death threats. In his twitter account featured by the Inquistr, he said "I have received loads of death threats this week, but don't worry, Hello Games now looks like the house from Home Alone #pillowfort"
Meanwhile, UK instrumental group 65daysofstatic announced that they will be performing in the largest tour ever made for a video sound track. According to Gamespot, the soundtrack "No Man's Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe" will be featured alongside the bands songs during their career highlights.
It was definitely a low point for the Hello Games lead developer, but rather than thinking too much about it, the team worked day and night to finish the game. No Man's Sky will arrive on the PS4 console this August 9, 2016.
