With Gamescom fading into view, and PAX just around the corner, E3 seems like a million miles away. But that's where we must set our gaze to learn about Nintendo's take on Batman, and how the Wii U's Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition, will, in Edmond's words, "really bring the experience to the player like never before."
The first thing is, with the Wii U's new tablet looking controller, you won't have to pause the game just so you can navigate through the 5 times larger than Arkham Asylum, Arkham City. The map is "now sitting in your hands...The benefit of having the map on a second screen, displayed at all times, is that you no longer have to pause the game to access it. So you can just free roam around Arkham City at will, and just never get lost."
The controller will be utilized in other ways beyond just navigation. A personal favorite of Edmond's, players will use the new controller "to scan for evidence. Batman is the world's greatest detective, and throughout his experience in Arkham City, he'll need to look for clues. The way you do this now is by physically moving the controller as a remote window using augmented reality to find clues."
Augmented reality? Sounds fancy. But what we're really interested in is the new namesake of the game, the armor. What is it, and how will it affect the game? "The new armor that both Batman and Catwoman will be wearing in this version Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition have many powers. The first and most important will help them in combat with the new B.A.T mode - Battle Armored Tech. Essentially wheat it does is you gather kinetic energy as you fight, and then when your gauge is full, and can release it in combat and unleash fury on the thugs and enemies." Unfortunately, that's all Edmonds is letting us in on, but just with that aspect alone, we should be able to expect at least a few new upgrade possibilities.

Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition is scheduled for release to Nintendo's Wii U this holiday season.
