“Batman: The TellTale Series” gave people in attendance at E3 first glimpse looks of the upcoming game which is scheduled to come out this Summer.
TellTale offers a different kind of angle into the “Batman” character, offering more credence to his alter-ego – “Bruce Wayne." Such was emphasized by Tamoor Hussain of Game Spot, believing that even the comics are guilty of failing to offer a fitting story to the life of the Gotham millionaire.
Five episode coming until the end of 2016
“Batman: The TellTale Story” is expected to come out with the first full episode this Summer and the company intends to have the first whole season out before 2016 comes to a close.
All five full episodes will be out before the year ends, coming no less from TellTale head of creative communications Job Stauffer during a talk with Games Radar.
While that should be something, he adds that it may also depend on the quality behind the episodes. Stauffer did not hint at possible delays though it was obvious that quality will not be sacrificed for quantity. There was no official release date announced either.
"We'll work our hardest!" said Stauffer, as he explained that the misquoted comments weren't his but of Telltale senior director of marketing Richard Iggo's.
At E3, familiar characters were already revealed. That included “Catwoman” and the “Falcone Crime Syndicate” though “Batman: The TellTale Story” is shaping up to be a new version of the famed TV series “Gotham."
The main difference is of course seeing the “Dark Knight” in it, though “Bruce Wayne” is still the character that will be built up.
“Batman: The TellTale Series” will come out with versions for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and mobile devices in the Summer.
Other titles that TellTale is reportedly working on include “The Walking Dead," “Game of Thrones” and a “Marvel” series with no word on what the company would focus on for now.
