Halo 4 Will Open Eurogamer Expo 2012, and Will Be Playable

Eurogamer Expo, the UK's biggest and best gaming festival, announced today that 343 Industries' Halo franchise director Frank O'Connor will present a Halo 4 developer session to kick off this year's show.

This will also mark the first time in the UK that fans will get access to the "Halo Infinity Multiplayer" experience through the competitive multiplayer modes of War Games, on the show floor.

The Halo 4 session will be the first of the show at midday on Thursday, September 27. O'Connor will take the stage to showcase this year's biggest Xbox 360 release to attendees, before its worldwide launch on November 6.

"We were looking around for a big video game icon to open the show and they don't get much bigger than the Master Chief," said Tom Bramwell, Eurogamer Operations Director. "The Master Chief is more than a video game star - he's a pop culture icon - and we can't wait to see what 343 Industries has in store for us."

The Expo promises more playable games than ever (including a large number of UK first-plays), a high-profile developer session schedule, as well as a number of satellite events including the Games Industry Fair.

The Eurogamer Expo will be returning to London's Earls Court from 27th-30th September 2012 and is expected to welcome over 50,000 gamers. Tickets for Eurogamer Expo 2012 are now available at www.eurogamerexpo.com.
