"The Division" Underground DLC will reportedly include more gear sets and major weapon balancing. Previously, gamers have been discouraged after discovering several glitches, flaws and overall poor balance in "The Division."
Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are expecting to address some of the biggest issues that have compelled many players to move on to other multiplayer shooters. Players were particularly complaining about unbalanced weapons, so the game developers are hoping that their next update will improve the situation.
GameRant noted that the next "The Division" Underground DLC, with Update 1.3, promised to deliver better-balanced weapons, new gear and other fixes. It is important for the game to maintain a level playing field, considering how PvP Dark Zone is one of the biggest attractions of the game.
Hackers have exploited many key components in the game that turned off those who play normally. Attempts to balance the game and fix problems also resulted to servers going down frequently, which further caused the departure of supposed game loyalists.
According to Ubisoft the new "The Division" Underground DLC update will provide significant weapon balancing to the game. The update should let players become more effective with weapons that they enjoy using.
The statements seemed to hint that the balance more delve more about enhancing sub-par weapons, instead of nerfing overpowered ones. Ubisoft did not indicate which weapons will be adjusted. There will expectedly be changes in player loadouts as well.
Vine Report wrote that other features to expect in the DLC include the Underground feature, four DLC exclusive Gear Sets and the new Dragon's Nest Incursion. One of the gear sets will be the B.L.I.N.D. gear which can make players fully resistant to being blinded and killed. Those who acquire all four pieces of the set will result to a flashbang blast while killing another player.
It can also make a powerful pulse damage against enemies. The second gear set is called Firecrest which burns enemies. The Front Line gear is made for defense by increasing shield health.
Ubisoft recently stated that they were actively going after game cheaters in "The Division" Underground. The DLC may provide some solutions to the dwindling sales, although some players feel that it is already too late for the developer to catch up with the numerous problems that the title has been plagued with since its release.
"The Division" is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The next update is slated to become available on June 28, 2016. More updates and details are expected soon.
