It was recently confirmed that a new DLC is coming for "Titanfall 2" and as an addition to the good news, it will be for free! However, someone has to pay the price.
A Not All-Free Post-Launch DLC
"We still want to provide post-launch content because people want it, but it's not free to do," Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella told GamesRadar. "If we're going to support the game, that costs money."
The upcoming expansion pack for "Titanfall 2" carries new maps and game modes that are set to be free for everyone, according to PC Gamer.
But, not all of the downloadable content will be entirely free of charge. "Titanfall 2" developer, Respawn Entertainment, will only let the gamers play the DLC even though they don't have the complete package, like the aesthetic stuff, boosts and the likes.
Respawn Entertainment won't allow the "Titanfall 2" players to "split the community" between the ones who have the paid DLC and those who don't.
However, the specific things that need to be paid on the expansion pack are not listed by the studio as it explained that "it's really hard to talk about it."
