"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" is officially coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The superhero beat-'em-up title was initially only available in older platforms. Now fans can jack up their PS4 and Xbox gameplay with "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance!"
"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" Gets Auxilliary 12 Rating, Confirmed For PS4 And Xbox One
Gematsu broke the good news about "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" taking the big jump to PS4 and Xbox One. In addition to that, the Activision title is not the only one that will soon be available in new platforms.
The Taiwan Game Softwared Ratings Board has reportedly given "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" the auxiliary 12 rating. However, it was not the only one. The sequel "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2" as well as "Transformers: Fall of Cybertron" were given similar ratings.
"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" was originally released by Activision in 2006. The awesome gameplay allowed players to form their own teams or get bonus points for completing established Marvel groups.
The "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" characters ranged between the popular (Spider-Man, Captain America) to the unexpected (Fin Fang Foom, Dum Dum Dugan).
The first game proved to be so popular that the sequel "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2" followed in 2009 and took on the "Civil War" comic book storyline. Unlike the first game, which was developed by Raven Software, the sequel was created by Vicarious Visions.
Is "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" Happening Soon?
But is it possible that "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" will soon be released as well? The move to bring the first "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" titles to newer platforms will finally introduce the games to younger players.
ComicBook speculates that a positive reception could lead to "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" being developed soon afterwards.
