For the many fans who have been hoping to get any form of reliable update tied up to “The Elders Scrolls 6”, it has now been confirmed that there will be one though it will not come out any time soon.
Such was revealed no less by Bethesda game director Todd Howard during an interview at E3 via IGN. Howard was interviewed by Geoff Keighley as both were touching on “Skyrim,” which was inevitably headed down the road to the sixth installment, "The Elder Scrolls 6."
Howard somehow knew it was coming and eventually made a lot of gamers happy, revealing that they are indeed working on “The Elder Scrolls 6."
Long Wait for 'The Elder Scrolls 6'
While Howard made a lot of people happy with “The Elder Scrolls 6” revelation, he also threw caution to the wind by advising everyone to keep their expectations in check.
With two large projects on the roster, Howard added that “The Elder Scrolls 6” is “still a very long way off” via Kotaku. Like other game developers who opt to maximize time before unveiling a new game title, Howard and the folks over at Bethesda are emphasizing on quality over rushed releases.
What are the two new big projects before 'The Elder Scrolls 6'
With confirmation more than enough for “The Elder Scrolls 6”, its progress is now somehow tied up to the two big projects that Howard mentioned. What are they?
As expected, the game titles that has obstructed the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6" were kept under wraps but Howard called them “two large projects which are bigger than anything that they have done until now” via Windows Report.
The two unknown games are expected to be released ahead of “The Elder Scrolls 6” meaning that gamers will have to wait and see first what these large projects are before starting count on “The Elders Scrolls 6” coming once again.
For now, gamers will have to satisfy themselves with the announced “The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim”, something set to be out by October 28, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. For more "The Elder Scrolls 6" news and updates, stay tuned to GamenGuide!
