The most ripped man in Sparta, who fears no God comes back in Sony's "God of War" series. He's also about to face the most challenging test in his life: how to become a father.
Kratos Becomes A Father
Sony's E3 2016 press conference dropped a major bomb about "God of War" series. They revealed an older, bearded version of the Greek God-killer alongside a young boy, The Verge reported.
In the trailer released during Sony's E3 2016 presentation, Kratos seemed to be living an entirely different life compared to his breath-taking journey in the past.
Kratos and his son follow a low-profile, quite life that involves a lot of normal stuff like chatting, walking in the woods and hunting (except for this).
This is quite unexpected from the inhuman monster slaying Gods in the "God of War" series, that most fans associate with.
Meanwhile, IGN commended the new Kratos in the upcoming "God of War" series. Although the game is one of the most influential action games in the past 15 years, the main character has lacked a certain depth as noted by the author.
Kratos Teaches His Boy
The core of "God of War" series is in the relationship between Kratos and his son, the report said. This is the key throughout the game.
In fact, a rage meter appears in the corner every time Kratos gets angry of his boy's mistakes. This thoughtful detail is totally unexpected but fans will surely appreciate.
Of course, Kratos demands that his boy acts like him: certain and self-sufficient. In the trailer for the new "God of War," Kratos teaches his boy how to survive.
In an extended demo to IGN, there was a number of crafting resources pieces of armour and idols that are hidden all over the place. There were also secret nooks and hidden paths along the way.
CNET added that audience has received the trailer with enthusiasm. Sony promises unexpected spectacle-filled scenes, which "God of War" is popularly known for. More details will be reveled later on.
The new "God of War" is exclusive to Sony's Playstation. Stay tuned for more updates on "God of War." Check out the full trailer below:
